My Invisalign Journey: From Gapped Teeth to Gapless Grin at Lv Dental Square Bangalore

My Invisalign Journey: From Gapped Teeth to Gapless Grin at Lv Dental Square Bangalore

For as long as I can remember, I've been self-conscious about my smile. I had a gap between my front teeth that always seemed to be the center of attention in photos and even casual conversations.

I couldn't wait any longer and decided to make a move. After some research, I learned about Invisalign, the clear aligner treatment that promised straighter teeth without the traditional metal braces.

Lv Dental Square in Bangalore came highly recommended, and upon visiting them, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Sanjay patiently explained the Invisalign process, listened to my concerns, and assured me that achieving a gap-free smile was definitely achievable.

The Transformation Begins

The first few days of wearing the aligners were a bit of an adjustment. There was a slight discomfort, and getting used to talking with them was a new experience. But Lv Dental Square provided excellent aftercare instructions, and any minor issues were quickly addressed during my regular check-ups.

With each passing week, the difference became more and more apparent. The gap between my teeth was slowly closing, and my entire smile was beginning to look straighter and more aligned. It was incredibly motivating to see the progress firsthand!

Life After Invisalign

It's been a few months since I finished my treatment, and I'm still absolutely thrilled with my smile. I have so much more confidence now, and I don't hold back on my smiles anymore. My happiness is overflowing, and it shows in my smile.

More Than Just Straight Teeth

Invisalign wasn't just about fixing my gap-toothed grin; it was about gaining confidence. Now, I don't hesitate to smile for pictures, and I find myself laughing more freely. This one little change has completely transformed my life.

If you're considering Invisalign treatment, I highly recommend Lv Dental Square in Bangalore. Their expertise, care, and commitment to their patients made the entire journey smooth and successful. And let me tell you, the results are truly life-changing!

Sensitive Teeth? Don't Suffer in Silence!

Sensitive Teeth Got You Down?

Do you experience any discomfort when consuming something cold or hot?Do you feel a sharp pang when brushing your teeth? Millions of people worldwide suffer from the frequent issue of tooth sensitivity.

But fear not! Lv Dental is here to help you smile without the sting.

What causes tooth sensitivity?

There are several reasons why your teeth might be feeling extra sensitive. Some of the most frequent causes listed below

  • Receding gums: When your gums recede, they expose the dentin, the layer beneath your tooth enamel. Dentin is much softer than enamel and contains tiny tubules that lead directly to the nerve of your tooth. This can make your teeth hypersensitive to hot, cold, sweet, and sour stimuli.

  • Worn enamel: Over time, enamel can wear away due to factors like acidic foods and drinks, aggressive brushing, or grinding your teeth. This can also expose the dentin and lead to sensitivity.

  • Cracked teeth: A cracked tooth can allow irritants to reach the dentin and nerve, causing pain.

  • Dental treatments: Certain dental procedures, such as fillings or crowns, can temporarily irritate the tooth and cause sensitivity.

How can Lv Dental treat tooth sensitivity?

The good news is that there are many effective treatments for tooth sensitivity. Depending on the cause and severity of your sensitivity,

  • Desensitizing toothpaste: These toothpastes contain ingredients that block the tiny tubules in your dentin, preventing irritants from reaching the nerve.

  • Fluoride treatment: Fluoride strengthens your tooth enamel and helps to prevent further erosion.

  • Dental bonding: If you have a chipped or cracked tooth, bonding can cover up the exposed dentin and protect your tooth from sensitivity.

  • Gum grafting: If your gums have receded significantly, Lv Dental may recommend gum grafting to cover the exposed dentin and protect your teeth.

Here a few things you can do at home to help manage tooth sensitivity:

  • Brush gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush.

  • Avoid acidic foods and drinks.

  • Use a straw when drinking cold beverages.

  • If you grind your teeth at sleep, use a mouthguard.

Smile Confidently With Dental Implants

Dental Implants are artificial tooth roots that are made up of titanium. It is like a screw which is placed into the jaw to hold a replaced tooth (OR) teeth bridge. This implant helps to provide a great support to the restored tooth and prevents loss of jaw bone. It works on the basis of Osseointegration in which an element like titanium is bonded to the bone. Dental implants are a boon to the people who lost their teeth and it helps to gain stability, strength to eat normal food without any difficulty in mastication. Implants help to prevent bone loss, support facial features.

Dental implant types:

  • Single-Stage Dental Implants:
A long implant is placed into jaw by surgical intervention. The implant’s top edge will be at the level of gum tissue. By leaving the implant’s head exposed, the gum tissue is stitched. This process does not need another surgery for the abutment, temporary restoration to the already accessible head of the implant.
  • Two Stage Dental Implants:
The dentist will do a surgery to fix the implant into the jawbone and then the gum tissue is stitched. After healing, another surgery is performed for attaching the abutment to provide restoration temporarily.

The patient is required to have the following condition for Two-stage dental implant surgery

  • Do need healthy gum tissues
  • Do have good oral and general health
  • Adequate bone is necessary for the jaw for implanting
dental implants

Dental implants procedure: (Two stage)

Preparing Jaw for Implantation: A titanium metal screw and a crown are usually used in a dental implant restoration procedure. A small hole is drilled on the jaw site to guide the screw which holds the implant in the right place.

Placement: The drilled hole is carefully widened to implant screw. A protective cover screw is placed on the top to allow the site for healing and Osseointegration, where the implant is protected by the surrounding gum tissue. Finally, the implant is uncovered, an abutment is attached which holds the crown. The process is eventually over when the temporary crown is replaced by a permanent crown.
